CMT promotes scientific research on new materials and ecological construction techniques, (with emphasis on the dissemination of improved earth construction techniques) and are accessible to the Mozambican people. There will be a big emphasis in the area of research associated with a strong practical aspect, in order to collect results consistent and worthy of being applied.

Develop a database to facilitate research and to allow uses of diverse nature in joint initiatives with civil society and public institutions at national, regional and local level. The implementation of this project will be an asset for the country that will now have a centre of production of eco-friendly, low-cost material, able to respond specifically to social benefit projects.
